Most adult AI chat sites say “free”, but only a few let you keep chatting for free without limits that run out in a day. On paper, JanitorAI has the biggest free plan, CrushOn.AI and Secrets AI publish clear caps, and several others give you a taste and then a paywall. Here is what each free plan includes, as written on the official pages on Oct 25, 2026.
This is a test drive guide. I read the free plan terms and official pages; I did not pay for anything, and I have not measured the limits myself.

No service has had a paid crash test yet, so the scores you see are paper scores: ten checks against the official pages.
What “free” usually means
Free plans in this category are built in one of three ways. Knowing which one you are on saves you a surprise.
1. Free model, limited memory. JanitorAI, SpicyChat and CrushOn.AI let you keep chatting, but cap how much the bot remembers. SpicyChat’s 4,096 tokens and CrushOn.AI’s 8K are short for a long story. Reviewers on Trustpilot mention SpicyChat’s free tier cutting off earlier chat.
2. A daily or monthly message cap. Secrets AI gives 20 messages a day. CrushOn.AI counts 100 credits a month. DreamGF’s daily claim bonus grows if you come back every day. These are clear, at least.
3. A taster, then a paywall. Dream Companion, GirlfriendGPT and Swipey AI give a small number of messages. Kindroid gives a one-time preview and then makes your account read-only. OurDream AI charges coins per message and hands out almost none free.
How to stretch a free plan
Use the built-in model on JanitorAI. It is free and the default. If you connect an outside model, JanitorAI’s own guide notes OpenRouter allows 50 free messages a day, reset at midnight UTC, rising to 1,000 a day after a one-time $10. Those are third-party limits and can change.
Bring your own API on Chub AI. Chub works with your own key from OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenRouter, Google or NovelAI, or a self-hosted Kobold or Ooba backend, which is free on your own hardware. You pay the provider instead, or nothing if you self-host.
Keep CrushOn.AI chats active. Free chat history is deleted after 7 days of inactivity, per the pricing page. If a story matters, don’t leave it a week.
Watch credit-per-action costs. Promptchan charges 1 Gem for a voice message and 2 for a voice call. Image and video features on most sites spend credits even on paid plans.
Before you sign up, even for free
Free still costs you data. Check these first.
- Age checks. JanitorAI uses k-ID for Australia, Brazil and the UK. Kindroid may ask flagged free users for a Yoti selfie age estimate (passes at 21+) or ID. CrushOn.AI reviewers on Trustpilot say unlocking 18+ content asked for card details and a US$0.99 charge.
- Training. CrushOn.AI and Secrets AI say chat content is used to train models; OurDream AI and Candy.ai list training too. Dream Companion’s homepage says it does not currently train its own models on chats. Chub AI says private chats are not used for training.
- Deletion. JanitorAI, Secrets AI, OurDream AI, Kindroid and Dream Companion describe self-service deletion. CrushOn.AI, Candy.ai, Promptchan and DreamGF describe email requests.
- Breaches. Muah AI is the cautionary tale: a 2024 breach exposed about 1.9 million email addresses plus AI prompts, per Have I Been Pwned. I don’t recommend it. Use an email you don’t use for anything else.
Left off the table
Three services with free options are not recommended here because their terms lack a clear rule against real-person images or deepfakes:
- Nomi: free start with a daily quota of messages and images (number not published), but no specific deepfake clause.
- Kupid AI: the subscriptions page lists 15 messages free, but the terms do not mention real people or deepfakes.
- SoulGen: no free plan or free credits listed on the pricing page, and its terms don’t name deepfakes or require users to be 18+.
