Good on paper
- Free plan or trial: Some free messages
- No unresolved breach: None reported
Watch out for
- Company named: No legal entity or address
- Renewal terms clear: Confusing renewal wording
- Real age check: Self-declared 18+
- Real-person ban: No rule on real people or deepfakes
- Self-serve deletion: Erasure by email
- Chat data explained: Training use not stated
Kupid AI is an adult AI girlfriend chat site with pre-made and custom characters, AI photos, videos and voice messages. The free tier gives you 15 messages, and paid plans were shown from EUR 3.44 a week on the official subscriptions page on Oct 25, 2026. Those were discounted EUR prices, and the same page says “One payment, nothing renews” next to weekly pricing, so be careful about what you are actually agreeing to.
This is a test drive, based on the official pages and published policies, not on paid use.
What it is
Kupid AI lets you chat with ready-made AI girlfriend characters or create your own, setting appearance and personality. Paid plans add weekly allowances of photos, videos and voice messages, and a longer message memory.
Who runs it is not clear. The terms, privacy policy and 2257 page name only “Kupid AI”, with no legal entity or address. The terms say Maltese law governs, but that does not tell you where the company is. It runs in the browser.
An App Store listing called “Kupid AI” from a developer named Easy Fasting Inc. appeared in search, but the page returned a 404 and I could not confirm it is official. I found no Google Play listing.
Free plan
The homepage says some models can be chatted with for free and registering unlocks all models. The subscriptions page lists the free tier at 15 messages.
Fifteen messages is a short first date. It is enough to check the writing style and little else.
Prices
As listed on the official subscriptions page (kupid.ai/subscriptions) on Oct 25, 2026. Prices were shown in EUR.
| Plan | Weekly price shown | Struck-through price | Photos/week | Videos/week | Voice/week | Memory |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | EUR 0 | – | – | – | – | – |
| Pro | EUR 3.44 | EUR 12.99 | 25 | 8 | 12 min | Last 30 messages |
| Ultra | EUR 5.75 | EUR 24.99 | 75 | 25 | 35 min | Last 100 messages |
Read these notes before you pay:
- EUR, not USD. Prices appeared in euros in the research browser and may be localised. If you are in the US, UK, Canada or Australia, check how your card handles a euro charge.
- Discounted. Both plans were shown as discounts from a higher price.
- Yearly and Lifetime. Toggles for Yearly (-77%) and Lifetime (-87%) exist, but those prices were not displayed.
- Conflicting renewal wording. The page shows a weekly price, which implies a recurring charge, yet also says “One payment, nothing renews”. The terms separately say you cancel recurring billing by emailing support. It is not clear from the public pages which plans renew, or what total is charged per billing cycle.
Coins
The terms describe Coins. They have no cash value and cannot be transferred. Free, allowance and promotional Coins expire 6 months after they are credited; Coin packs you buy do not expire. Coin pack prices were not found.
Payment
Payment methods are not listed. The terms refer only to a payment processor “indicated or recognized by us”, and the subscriptions page shows “Secured”, “Discreet” and “Private billing” badges. The terms say digital sales are final and non-refundable once delivered.
Features
From the official pages as of Oct 25, 2026:
- AI girlfriend chat with pre-made and custom characters (appearance and personality)
- AI photos, with weekly limits by plan
- Videos, with weekly limits by plan
- Voice messages, in minutes per week by plan
- Message memory: last 30 messages on Pro, last 100 on Ultra
- Faster responses and higher queue priority on paid plans
Privacy and safety
Age checks. The terms say you must be 18 or the legal age where you live. No verification method is described; using the platform counts as your affirmation.
Chat data. The privacy policy says personal data may be used to adapt services and “develop new tools”, and that moderators check compliance. It does not say whether chats are used for AI training. Data is not sold or transferred without consent, but is shared with service providers, advisers and authorities.
Deletion. Withdrawing consent leads to account deletion “in a timely manner”. Erasure requests go by email to the data controller, but the address is obfuscated on the page. The policy says data is stored for 6 years after you stop being a user.
Content rules. The terms do not explicitly mention real people or deepfakes. They ban illegal use and give a process for reporting content that infringes rights such as image rights, plus an appeal route for people shown in removed content. A takedown process is something, but it is not a rule against making the content in the first place. Under this site’s rules I do not recommend services with no deepfake rule, so treat that as a warning.
What users complain about
On Trustpilot, Kupid had 3.1/5 from 17 reviews when checked on Oct 25, 2026, with 59% of them 1-star. That is a small sample. Themes:
- Memory. A premium reviewer says memory dropped to about 10 messages after an update, despite the advertised longer memory, and support did not fix it.
- Filters. A reviewer reports overtuned censorship removing harmless scenes mid-conversation. The company replied suggesting restarting before the trigger point or contacting support.
- Coins and images. A reviewer says custom model results cannot be previewed before you accept them, so retries cost Coins, and auto-generated images often do not match the scene.
I did not collect Reddit complaints for this page.
My take
On paper, Kupid looks cheap and its plan limits are spelled out in a way many rivals do not bother with: photos, videos, voice minutes and memory length per week. The Coin expiry rules are also clearly written.
But there is a lot I cannot verify from the outside. No company name or address, EUR prices for an English-speaking audience, a renewal statement that contradicts the weekly pricing, no stated age check, no explicit deepfake rule, 6-year retention and an obfuscated deletion email. Each one alone is manageable. Together they make it hard to recommend.
If you try it, stay on the free tier first, then read the checkout screen closely for the total and the renewal terms, and screenshot it. For a service with an explicit rule on real people and a published monthly price, compare Swipey AI.

Paper check: 3.0/10
Ten yes/no checks against the official pages, checked Oct 25, 2026. Half a point when the answer is unclear. A paid crash test replaces this score. How the paper score works.
