It has an age gate, uses a third-party age check where the law requires it, bans real-person likeness and reference photo uploads, and offers self-service deletion. Its privacy policy says chats can be used to train its AI models.

How do I delete my OurDream AI account?

Go to Profile, then the "danger zone", then delete my account. The help center says it takes 24 to 48 hours and permanently removes your chats, generations, unpublished characters and unused coins.

Does OurDream AI have an app?

OurDream AI Review 2026: Free Plan, Prices, Privacy

OurDream AI is a browser-based AI companion service where you build characters and chat, call and generate images and video with them. Sign-up is free, but free users pay one dreamcoin per message, and a subscription costs USD 19.99 a month or USD 9.99 a month on the annual plan. This is a test drive based on the free sign-up and the official pages; a full crash test is coming.

What it is

OurDream AI lets you create customisable AI companions (appearance, personality and voice) and talk to them in a chat that remembers past conversations. It also does image and video generation, voice calls, group chats and a community feed. It also runs as ourdream.io on the same account.

The company is Dream Studio USA, Inc., based in Dover, Delaware, per the underage and privacy policies checked on Oct 25, 2026. There is no standalone mobile app. The help center says to add it to your home screen from Safari on iOS or Chrome on Android.

Free plan

You can join free. The catch is the currency. Per the help center, free users pay 1 dreamcoin per chat message, and free dreamcoins are not handed out except through referrals, contests and Discord events.

Image and video generation need a subscription, and so does buying dreamcoins. In practice the free plan is a look around, not a place to stay.

Both plans include unlimited chat messages on standard models (subscriber chats cost 0 coins there) and image and video generation. Coins are credited on your billing anniversary. Top-up pack sizes and prices are not listed on the official pages.

A minute of voice call is 50 coins, so 1,000 coins is 20 minutes of talking and nothing else. Budget accordingly.

Refunds and payment

The help center says there is no refund once more than 25% of a product has been used, crypto payments cannot be refunded, and unused coins are removed after a refund or account deletion.

You can pay by credit or debit card or crypto. PayPal is not accepted. If your card is declined, the help center offers G2A codes for coins and one-year subscriptions as a fallback.

Whether the memory actually remembers is a crash test question.

Privacy and safety

Age checks. The site opens with an age gate (“Confirm you’re 18+ to continue”). Where the law requires it, a third-party age assurance provider checks your age and OurDream receives only the result, per the privacy policy. The terms ban anyone under 18.

Chat data. The privacy policy (last modified Aug 26, 2026) lists using information to improve the services, “including to train our artificial intelligence/machine learning models”. The content it collects includes your chats. Assume your conversations can be used for training.

Deletion. This one is self-service. Go to Profile, then the “danger zone”, then delete my account. The help center says it is processed in 24 to 48 hours and is permanent, removing generations, unpublished characters, chat history and unused coins. Popular public characters may be kept after deletion.

Content rules. The prohibited content policy bans content designed to resemble, depict or impersonate real people, including celebrities, without consent. The terms ban voice deepfakes and impersonation, and uploading reference photos is not allowed “due to possible deepfakes”.

What users complain about

Trustpilot removed the ourdream.ai profile and the research tools could not reach Reddit, so I have no third-party user complaints to report.

One complaint comes from OurDream itself. Its help center admits the content-flag system is “a bit too sensitive” and may flag safe content. That is the company talking, not users, but it tells you what to expect from the filters.

My take

On paper, OurDream AI is clear about how it charges, which is more than many in this category manage. The help center lists coin costs per action, and deletion is a button, not an email.

What to watch:

The free plan charges a coin per message and gives you almost no way to earn coins, so it is a preview.
Voice and video eat coins fast. The 1,000 monthly coins go further on images than on calls.
Chats can be used for model training.
The refund rule cuts off once you use more than 25% of a product, and crypto is never refunded.
