Short answer: JanitorAI has the most generous free plan on paper, with unlimited chats and about 9k tokens of context, as long as you can live with its built-in model or set up your own API key. SpicyChat has the cheapest entry plan at $5.95 a month but the smallest free memory. CrushOn.AI counts free use in message credits, 100 a month, and has the clearest pricing table of the three.

JanitorAI. The only verified prices are the iOS in-app ones: Janitor+ at $12.99 a month or $99.00 a year, as listed on the US App Store on Oct 25, 2026. The web price through Stripe is not published on an official page. Janitor+ adds 5x more context, priority access, monthly swipes with the best models and cosmetic extras. Subscribers can also use the janitor+ Router on the web, which charges per token for third-party models, with a $1 launch credit for new subscribers.
SpicyChat. Prices rose on Sep 8, 2026. Existing recurring subscribers keep their old price while the subscription stays active and unchanged. Current prices from the official docs, checked Oct 25, 2026:

JanitorAI says free access will remain available. Its own guide to connecting an external model points to OpenRouter, which it says allows 50 free messages a day, rising to 1,000 a day after a one-time $10. Those are third-party limits that can change, and costs and logging then depend on that provider.

On paper, without hands-on testing:
- JanitorAI if you want to chat free for a long time and don’t mind the built-in model, or you are comfortable pasting in an API key. Watch for automated bans.
- SpicyChat if you want a cheap, simple paid tier and a strict real-person rule. Know that the free plan’s memory is small and prices just went up.
