Test drive, not a crash test. Built from the free plan details and the official prices and policies. The score here is a paper score; a paid crash test replaces it.

Dream Companion (MyDreamCompanion) is a browser-based adult AI companion site with chat, images, short videos and voice. You can start free with one character and a small number of messages. Paid plans were shown at $0.19 a day for Premium, but that is a sale price on a yearly view, and the real monthly price was not published where I could see it.

This is a test drive, based on the official pages and published policies as of Oct 25, 2026, not on paid use.

What it is

Dream Companion lets you chat with pre-made AI companions or build your own, choosing appearance, personality and backstory. The homepage claims 10K+ companions, including AI girlfriends, boyfriends and anime styles. Companions can send images and short videos in chat, and paid plans add voice messages and calls.

The operator is Miracle AI UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Grolmanstraße 40, Berlin, Germany, per its privacy policy and blocked content policy. It runs in the browser. I found no official app-store listing, and an App Store app called “AI Chat Girlfriend” belongs to a different seller, so do not mistake it for this service.

Free plan

The terms of service say free users can create 1 character and send a limited number of messages, “typically between 10 to 20”. You can earn extra credits by completing tasks. The homepage calls the first chat free.

That is enough to see whether you like the writing style, not much more. Voice is listed as a paid feature.

Prices

These are the prices shown on the official subscription page on Oct 25, 2026. Read the notes under the table before you compare them with anything else.

PlanShown priceStruck-through priceBonus coins shownWhat it includes
Premium$0.19/day$0.64/day+100Unlimited chat, 100 Dream Coins a month, image and video creation, voice messages and calls
Ultimate$0.82/day$2.74/day+800Differences from Premium not listed

What these numbers are, and are not:

  • Per-day sale prices. The page was running a “70% off” sale, and the struck-through figures are the pre-sale per-day prices.
  • Yearly view. The default view was “Yearly -70% + Bonus”. A per-day price on a yearly plan means you would be billed for the year up front or in a lump, not $0.19 a day.
  • No monthly price. A monthly toggle exists, but the monthly price was not captured, and the total billed amount was not shown.

Payments go through a third-party processor. Your statement should show “Miracle AI” or “MyDreamCompanion”. Card brands and crypto are not stated.

Dream Coins

Premium includes 100 Dream Coins a month. How many coins an image, video or call costs, and what top-ups cost, were not found on public pages.

Features

Listed on the official pages as of Oct 25, 2026:

  • 10K+ pre-made companions plus a custom builder for appearance, personality and backstory
  • Memory of details from earlier conversations
  • In-chat images and a separate image generator that keeps a consistent face
  • Short video generation
  • Voice messages and calls on paid plans
  • Multiple companions, AI girlfriend or boyfriend, anime styles

Privacy and safety

Age checks. The service is 18+. There is an age gate on entry and an age affirmation at registration. The privacy policy says some users may be asked to verify identity or age through a third-party provider, Didit, and that the company only receives the result.

Chat data. The homepage says “We do not currently use your chats to train our own AI models.” It also says staff do not read private conversations except in limited moderation or safety cases, and that personal data is never sold. Note the word “currently”.

Deletion. There is a self-service option: Settings > Account > Delete Account. You can also request erasure of your personal data. Retention is “as long as necessary”, with no fixed period given.

Content rules. The blocked content policy bans falsely representing real individuals, celebrities or public figures with intent to deceive. The terms say using a celebrity’s name or likeness without consent may infringe publicity rights, and any media you upload needs the consent of everyone in it. That is a real rule on real people, though it leans on “intent to deceive” rather than an outright ban on sexual imagery of real people.

What users complain about

Dream Companion’s Trustpilot page had a very small number of reviews when checked on Oct 25, 2026, so this is thin evidence. Reviewers mention:

  • Bugs. Errors and chats stuck in loops.
  • Image generation. Outputs that ignore the prompt or reuse existing images.
  • Pricing and limits. It feels expensive, chat access is restricted, and one reviewer says credits did not replenish.

I could not check Reddit for this page.

My take

On paper, Dream Companion has some things going for it. It says it does not currently train on your chats, it has a self-service delete button, it names its age-check provider, and it has a written rule on representing real people. Those are better than average for this category.

What I would watch is the pricing presentation. A per-day sale price on a yearly view is designed to look small. Until you see the total at checkout, you do not know what you are paying. Coin costs for images and videos are also unpublished, so “unlimited chat” does not mean unlimited media.

It might suit you if you mostly want chat with one or two custom companions and you are happy to commit to a year. If you want to pay month to month with visible prices, compare it with Swipey AI, which lists a flat monthly price.
