Candy.ai has one paid plan, Premium, sold in three billing periods: EUR 3.99 a month billed EUR 47.88 a year, EUR 8.99 a month billed EUR 26.97 a quarter, or EUR 9.99 for the first month and EUR 13.99 a month after that. All three are labelled as discounts, all three renew automatically, and the prices were shown to me in euros only. Below is every published number, what it buys, and what a month really costs once the promo wears off.
This is a test drive: the figures come from the official subscription page, terms of service, privacy notice and homepage, all checked on Oct 25, 2026. I did not pay for a plan. For the wider picture, see the Candy.ai test drive.
The plans at a glance
Prices below are as listed on the official subscription page on Oct 25, 2026. They were shown in EUR, probably because of my location. I did not see USD, GBP, CAD or AUD prices, so I am not going to guess them. The page also says “Additional local taxes may apply”, which means the checkout total can be higher than the sticker.
| Billing period | Price shown | Charged per payment | Label on the page | Renewal wording |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 12 months | EUR 3.99/month | EUR 47.88 a year | “70% OFF”, “BEST VALUE”, struck-through EUR 13.99 | “Renews automatically for the same price and term” |
| 3 months | EUR 8.99/month | EUR 26.97 a quarter | “35% OFF”, struck-through EUR 13.99 | “Renews automatically for the same price and term” |
| 1 month | EUR 9.99 first month | EUR 9.99, then EUR 13.99 a month | “29% OFF” | “Then renews monthly at EUR 13.99” |
Every billing period buys the same Premium plan. There is no cheaper tier with fewer features and no higher tier with more. The difference is only how much you prepay and how long you are locked in.
What Premium includes
The subscription page lists the same benefits for every period:
- Create your own AI characters
- Generate 18+ images
- Generate 18+ videos
- “Full live action experience” (not explained further on the page)
- Unlimited text messages
- 100 tokens per month
The terms of service describe paid access the same way: unlimited messaging plus a monthly token allotment, “generally 100”, disclosed at checkout.
Two extra billing options
The payment sheet on the subscription page also showed two options that are not attached to any plan card: every 2 weeks at EUR 9.79 per payment, and weekly at EUR 5.6 per payment. The page does not say which plan these belong to or what they include. I list them because they were on the official page, but treat them as unconfirmed until you see them at your own checkout.
Is there a free plan?
Yes, in the sense that you can sign up without paying. The homepage offers “Join Free” and says “Start slow with the free trial.” What Candy.ai does not publish is the size of that trial or its limits: no message cap, no image allowance, no time limit.
Because Premium advertises “unlimited text messages”, free messaging is presumably limited. Candy.ai does not say where the limit is, and I will not invent one.
If a published free tier matters to you, Secrets AI lists its free limits openly on its help wiki: 20 messages a day, as checked on Oct 25, 2026.
Tokens: what they are and what they buy
Tokens are Candy.ai’s second currency. The subscription covers chat; tokens pay for generation. Premium includes 100 tokens a month, and the homepage says subscribers get tokens “to use across voice, chat, image, and video.” It also says you can “Top up anytime.”
Here is what is published and what is not:
| Question | Published answer |
|---|---|
| Tokens included with Premium | 100 a month |
| Can you buy more? | Yes, as a one-off purchase (terms and homepage) |
| Top-up pack sizes and prices | Not published on the official pages I checked |
| Tokens per image, video or voice message | Not published on the official pages I checked |
| Do tokens expire? | Yes, remaining tokens expire when your subscription ends (terms 10.2) |
| Do they carry over to a new subscription? | No |
| Can you transfer or cash them out? | No (terms 9) |
So I can tell you that you get 100 tokens. I cannot tell you how many images that is, because Candy.ai does not say. Third-party reviews quote per-action costs, but they are not official and I have not used them here.
The practical point: if you plan to generate a lot of images or video, the subscription price is the floor, not the total. Budget for top-ups you cannot price in advance.
Promo price vs renewal price
This is where people get caught, so let us go plan by plan.
12 months. EUR 47.88 up front. The page says it “Renews automatically for the same price and term”, so on paper the next year is also EUR 47.88. The struck-through EUR 13.99 is a list price used to calculate the “70% OFF” label, not something you are charged.
3 months. EUR 26.97 every quarter, renewing “for the same price and term.”
1 month. This is the one with a step-up. You pay EUR 9.99 for the first month, then EUR 13.99 every month after. The “29% OFF” only applies once.
One more line from the terms of service matters here. Prices “may change” at EverAI’s discretion, and price increases are communicated before an auto-renewal at the new price (terms 9). “Same price and term” describes today’s offer. It is not a lifetime price lock.
Renewal timing, per the terms: subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period, and payment is taken on the first day of the renewed period. The renewal goes to your default payment method. If you set a backup method, it is charged when the default fails.
If you want to stop a renewal, see how to cancel Candy AI.
What a normal month really costs
These are my estimates, built only from the published EUR prices above. They exclude local taxes (the page says these may apply) and token top-ups (no published prices). Rounded to the cent.
Annual plan
- Year one: EUR 47.88
- Per month: 47.88 ÷ 12 = EUR 3.99
- If it renews at the same price, year two is another EUR 47.88
Quarterly plan
- Per quarter: EUR 26.97
- Per month: 26.97 ÷ 3 = EUR 8.99
- Per year: 26.97 × 4 = EUR 107.88
Monthly plan
- Month one: EUR 9.99
- Months two to twelve: 11 × 13.99 = EUR 153.89
- Year one total: 9.99 + 153.89 = EUR 163.88, or 163.88 ÷ 12 = about EUR 13.66 a month
- Year two, if prices hold: 12 × 13.99 = EUR 167.88
The unconfirmed weekly and bi-weekly options, for completeness:
- Every 2 weeks: 26 payments × 9.79 = EUR 254.54 a year, or 254.54 ÷ 12 = about EUR 21.21 a month
- Weekly: 52 payments × 5.6 = EUR 291.20 a year, or 291.20 ÷ 12 = about EUR 24.27 a month
| Option | Estimated cost per month | Estimated cost for 12 months |
|---|---|---|
| 12 months | EUR 3.99 | EUR 47.88 |
| 3 months | EUR 8.99 | EUR 107.88 |
| 1 month (first year) | about EUR 13.66 | EUR 163.88 |
| 1 month (after first month) | EUR 13.99 | EUR 167.88 |
| Every 2 weeks (unconfirmed) | about EUR 21.21 | EUR 254.54 |
| Weekly (unconfirmed) | about EUR 24.27 | EUR 291.20 |
What this tells you: the gap between the annual plan and staying monthly for a year is 163.88 − 47.88 = EUR 116.00. That is a big discount for commitment, and also a big bet. You pay the full EUR 47.88 on day one, and the refund window (below) closes 24 hours later.
A sensible way to read it: if you are not sure you will still be using it in month three, the monthly plan costs you more per month but lets you leave cheaply. If you already know you like it, the annual plan is the cheapest way in by a wide margin. The quarterly plan sits in between and nobody will write songs about it.
Add tokens on top if you generate images or video beyond the 100 included. I cannot estimate that part, because the per-action costs and pack prices are not published.
Refunds
The refund rules are in section 10.4 of the terms of service (revision dated September 22, 2026). They are strict:
- Subscriptions: ask within 24 hours of payment. Refused if you used more than 20 tokens. Card purchases only. Not available if the problem was on your side.
- Token purchases: ask within 24 hours. Refused if you used any tokens. Card purchases only.
- EU and UK users: a 14-day right to withdraw from the initial purchase without giving a reason, counted from the confirmation email. The refund is reduced by a prorated amount for what you already used. It covers the first purchase only, not renewals.
- No refunds for content removed or restrictions imposed for policy violations, or for platform changes that do not alter the core service.
Two side effects worth knowing. A processed refund ends your premium access immediately. And “card purchases only” means crypto, Apple Pay, or bank payments may not qualify under the 24-hour rule as written. The terms do not spell out how Apple Pay is treated, so ask support before you rely on it.
Refund and withdrawal requests go to [email protected], per the terms.
Payment methods
From the official pages checked on Oct 25, 2026:
- Subscription page: Apple Pay, Visa, Mastercard.
- Homepage FAQ: “We accept Visa, MasterCard, and crypto too, including BTC, ETH, USDC, Litecoin, and others.”
- Terms of service: credit card, Pay by Bank, and other methods in specific countries.
The privacy notice names the payment processors: Emerchantpay and TrustPay (cards), Volt (bank payments), Coingate (crypto) and UpGate. Card processors receive things like your name, email, card brand, last four digits and BIN country. PayPal is not listed anywhere I looked.
If you want the charge to stay off your main card, the options are crypto or a separate card. I cover the trade-offs in how to pay for adult sites privately. Remember that crypto and other non-card payments fall outside the 24-hour card refund rule as written.
What shows on your bank statement
Candy.ai publishes this, which not every service does. The subscription page says: “Charge shown as ‘EverAI’ on your bank statement.” The homepage FAQ adds that there is “no direct reference to Candy AI or its services on your bank statement.”
EverAI Limited is the Malta company that runs Candy.ai. So the line on your statement should read EverAI rather than Candy. Whether your bank adds a city, country or reference number is up to your bank, and I cannot check that without paying.
Since the plans are priced in euros, a card in another currency may also show a foreign transaction fee from your bank. That fee is your bank’s, not Candy.ai’s.
How it compares on price
On published numbers only, checked Oct 25, 2026:
| Service | Cheapest published monthly-equivalent | Monthly with no commitment | Currency |
|---|---|---|---|
| Candy.ai | EUR 3.99 (billed EUR 47.88/year) | EUR 9.99 first month, then EUR 13.99 | EUR |
| Secrets AI | USD 9.17 (billed USD 109.99/year) | USD 19.99 | USD |
| OurDream AI | USD 9.99 (billed USD 119.88/year) | USD 19.99 | USD |
Different currencies, so this is not a like-for-like comparison, and every service counts its tokens differently. Secrets AI and OurDream AI do publish per-action token costs, which makes their real cost easier to predict. More options in Candy.ai alternatives and best AI girlfriend apps.
