Not recommended. We keep this page for reference but leave the service out of all rankings. The reason is in the text below.

  • Official prices and plans

Test drive, not a crash test. Built from the free plan details and the official prices and policies. The score here is a paper score; a paid crash test replaces it.

Good on paper

  • Company named: FameLink SA, Switzerland
  • Free plan or trial: Free/basic tier mentioned
  • Self-serve deletion: Delete in settings
  • Chat data explained: May train on anonymised chats
  • Refund policy published: Refund page published
  • No unresolved breach: None reported

Watch out for

  • Real age check: Check only on suspicion
  • Real-person ban: No rule on sexual images of real people

DarLink AI is a browser-based adult AI companion site with chat, voice, roleplay and image and video generation. There is a free tier, and paid plans start at $12.99 a month as listed on the official plan page on Oct 25, 2026. Before you sign up, know one thing: its terms have no explicit rule against sexual deepfakes of real people, and the service itself sells AI personas tied to specific influencers.

This is a test drive. It is based on the official pages and published policies, not on paid use.

What it is

DarLink AI lets you create and chat with AI “Virtual Friends”. You can build your own companion, run roleplay scenarios, use voice, and generate images and short videos. Its terms of service also describe “Influencer-Specific Subscriptions”, meaning AI personas linked to particular real influencers.

The operator is FameLink SA, based in Montsevelier, Jura, Switzerland, according to its privacy policy and terms.

On platforms, the homepage talks about “cross-platform access on web and mobile”, and the terms mention App Store and Google Play subscriptions. I found no official store listing as of Oct 25, 2026. An App Store search for “DarLink” returned only an unrelated health app. Treat it as a website.

Free plan

The terms refer to a “free/basic service tier” you can downgrade to, and the homepage title calls it a “Free AI Girlfriend Generator”. That is about all that is published. DarLink does not list free-tier limits on its public pages.

Prices

Prices below are monthly, as listed on the official plan page (darlink.ai/plan-selection) on Oct 25, 2026.

PlanPrice per monthShown per dayCoins per monthMessages per month
Essential$12.99$0.431006,000
Advanced$27.99 (labelled -32%)$0.933009,000
Ultimate$49.99$1.67500Unlimited

A few things to know about that table:

  • The page also offers quarterly (“SAVE 15%”) and yearly (“SAVE 44%”) billing. Those prices were not captured, so I am not quoting them.
  • The plan page runs a countdown “offer” timer. The prices may be promotional and could change.
  • Card payments work for monthly and annual plans. Crypto is accepted only for annual plans, and those do not auto-renew, per the plan page FAQ.

Coins

Every plan includes coins (100, 300 or 500 a month). On every plan an image costs 2 tokens and a video costs 20 tokens. Coins have no cash value, and the refund policy says unused tokens are not refunded if you cancel voluntarily. Top-up pack prices were not shown on public pages.

Features

What the official pages list, as of Oct 25, 2026:

  • Custom AI girlfriend creation
  • Memory by tier: basic (Essential), enhanced (Advanced), “living memory” (Ultimate)
  • Voice: 6 standard voices on Essential, 10 premium voices on Advanced and Ultimate
  • Image and video generation, paid in tokens
  • Roleplay creation: quick, deep or unlimited depending on plan, plus an “Elite Roleplay Engine” on Ultimate
  • Faster messaging on Advanced
  • Influencer-specific AI persona subscriptions

The plan page also carries testimonials. They are published by DarLink itself, so they are not independent.

Privacy and safety

Age checks. The terms say the service is 18+ only. Accounts believed to belong to under-18 users may be suspended or blocked “pending age verification”. No routine age check method or provider is named.

Chat data. The privacy policy (August 2025 version) says chats and feedback may be analysed to improve AI models and features, and that DarLink “might train” its AI on anonymised conversation data. It says personal data is not sold or rented. One detail worth reading twice: the refund policy says that after a chargeback, account records including private messages may be disclosed to the payment processor or bank.

Deletion. You can delete your account in settings or through support. Personal data is removed from active databases, but backups and legally required records may stay for a time. Deleting the account forfeits any refund.

Content rules. The terms forbid pretending to be a celebrity or public figure, and posting other people’s identifying information without consent. I found no explicit rule against generating sexual images of real people or deepfakes. Combined with personas tied to real influencers, that is a gap I would not ignore. Under this site’s rules I do not recommend services with no deepfake rule, so read this page as a warning, not a pitch.

Cancelling. Per the refund policy, cancellation takes effect when support receives written notice. That matters, given the complaints below.

What users complain about

DarLink’s Trustpilot page has only a small number of reviews, so take these as signals, not a verdict. As seen on Oct 25, 2026, reviewers mention:

  • Cancellation. Trouble finding how to cancel, and cancellation requests going unanswered.
  • Billing. Renewals at higher prices than expected and unclear billing terms.
  • Media quality. Images that do not match prompts, and videos that are short or slow.
  • Memory and chat. Weak memory and repetitive conversation on the entry plan.

I could not check Reddit for this page.

My take

On paper, DarLink offers a lot for the entry price: a high message cap, voice, roleplay and media generation. The coin costs for images and videos are at least published, which is more than some rivals manage.

But I would not point anyone towards it right now. There is no explicit rule against deepfakes of real people, the service sells influencer-linked personas, cancellation runs through written notice to support, and a chargeback can expose your private messages to a bank. Reviewers complain about exactly the parts you would worry about: billing and cancelling. If you want an AI companion with clearer rules on real people, look at Swipey AI or Dream Companion, which do publish one.

If you try DarLink anyway, use a card you can monitor, screenshot the plan you chose, and send your cancellation in writing well before renewal.
